What is the stock market/forex markets?
To understand the markets you must understand money and trading. People buy things with money therefore money has value. At first it was strictly bartering such as salt for fish or water for eggs. With more and more things to buy people demanded things that last longer than food yet had value such as metals:gold and silver. In todays modern times the value is calcutated and given a standard such the US DOLLAR.
Most people think it doesn't change value. How wrong is that wake up! It changes value everyday based on a "consensus" by the stock market. If the market goes up the value of the dollar goes up and vice versa.

Requiem for an economy 10/5/08

George W. Bush as always says it best: America is addicted to foreign oil. And my eyes have finally open to his prophetic message. We are crack addicts with a gasoline blindspot. We cannot see what this is doing to the the world, our past and the trillions of dollars that we created and sent on its merry way to foreign banks. Who do we have to blame- no one but ourselves. Well if follows we are the "wicked generation"- self-serving and self-indulgent to the absolute final finallity of our greedy souls. Well first of all I'm awake and I'm scared. That money is not coming back. Its gone. And to make matters worse we burned it to get to where we are. Then we made large vehicles that burned the ga$ twice-no four times as fast. What will we have when the gas "pimps" see no future in our banks/economy. No-one likes a washed up spun out,"Ameriho". Then when our gas wells start producing the price of gas will be a "crushing" 1cent per gallon. And no cars will survive the commodity/metal crusher. They'll need that aluminum to build the next "muslim america". And yes Israel will fall, she will fall real bad. We had it good though. We had it real good. Well that phase of american life is over. Next year this time my family will probably not be living in a large home. Our morgtage resets in April. My prophetic dream will be a reality-millions of homes, tens of millions of homeless on the lawns and backyards of these homes. I also predict a global whiteout-something I cannot see clearly but everything we know will come to a complete halt and everyone will have a "drug withdrawl" like noneother. That priceless.
